North Gulf Coast Chapter of CAI Hosts 3rd Annual Tradeshow
Destin, FL, September 1, 2014 — On Friday, September 26, everyone is invited to attend the North Gulf Coast Chapter Community Associations Institute’s (NGCC CAI) 2014 Tradeshow at the Baytowne Conference Center located at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. This free event features more than 50 exhibitors showcasing the latest in homeowner and community association products and services.
The Trade show will feature two educational seminars covering the trends and topics resonating across an industry that includes approximately nine million individuals living in homeowner and community associations throughout the state of Florida.
One seminar will be “Residential Condominiums Basics, Rating Considerations and The New Law”. The presenters will cover the basics of the Residential Condominium Building Association policy as well as the new Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act: the largest reform the National Flood Insurance Program has experienced since its inception. This seminar will meet the Florida Continuing Education requirements for association managers.
The second seminar will be a homeowner and community association board of directors’ certification course. The presenters will cover sections of the Florida Statutes governing such topics as budgets and reserves, elections and records access. This seminar is approved by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Celebrating 40 Years , the NGCC CAI serves the educational, business, and networking needs of homeowner and community associations from Tallahassee to Perdido Key. Community Associations Institute (CAI) members include professional managers and community volunteers from condominium, cooperative, and homeowner associations as well as those who provide products and services to associations. The North Gulf Coast Chapter, one of 59 CAI chapters, has more than 295 members including 99 service providers, 148 professional managers, 13 management companies, and 35 community association volunteer leaders.
